What you say to your self has more impact on you than you can imagine. What limiting beliefs held you back in the previous year? Do you still carry those same beliefs into the new year? You need to watch it and deliberately stop that conversation roaming in your mind. 2. Never ever compare yourself with anyone. Thanks to social media, it helps you see how well you compare with others. Whichever way you look at it, comparing yourself with others will have a negative effect on your both emotionally and psychologically. You need to clear your mind and clear your compass. You need to have a clear clean standard for your life, and that’s definitely not social media. Let your daily goal in the new year be to become better than you were yesterday. Learning is an important aspect of life. It is a non-negotiable for anyone who wants to stay on top in their personal life and career. We all have the capacity to learn and improve, but many are yet to unlock the potential to learning well, as well as fast.  My Learning Experience Just last week, I was asked to prepare an Excel sheet to size some cables for some engineering project. After preparing the Excel sheet, the senior engineers were wowed! This was beyond their expectation! How did I prepare something that excellent, that could automatically calculate the size and give dynamic recommendation for the selection of any cable!  Was it something amazing to them? Yes. Was it anything special to me? Definitely not.  Two months prior, I new next to nothing on Excel. I didn't even know how to use the SUM function. During an intensive training programme, an external facilitator had trained us on Basics, Intermediate and Advanced Excel. This training was within a space of one week. It

Experiences in life are rare. Treasure them and make the most of every waking moment of yours. We will not always live here forever, therefore, make every moment of your life count. Three Reasons You Should Not Throw Your Life Away 1. We need to always remind ourselves that there is just one of us existing now in the universe. You are a unique individual with a unique mindset having unique abilities. You are you and there is none other. If you forget this, you will throw you life away. Your family needs you. Your parents, siblings or relatives are probably going through challenges only you can provide solution to. If you close your eyes to their needs, you are wasting your life and would feel incomplete. 2. Your community needs you. No one cares about you until they know how much you care about them. I
